Kraft Capri Sun Super V juice pouch

I’ve been looking for information on it from the food company (Kraft) but it is not on their website yet.


It is an interesting new product, a juice pouch that combines fruits and vegetables (75% fruit & 25% vegetable) and fortified with fiber. No artificial colors, flavors or preservatives & fortified with A, C, and E.

One Capri Sun Super V pouch has 70 calories, 0 grams of fat, 20 milligrams of sodium, 18 grams of carbohydrates, 3 grams of fiber, 14 grams of sugar, 0 grams of protein, 10% vitamin C, and 10% vitamin E.



I keep greek yogurt in the house and usually I’m the only one that eats them. I recently found these yogurts in the supermarket. Chobani Champions! They have kid friendly packaging and are in a smaller container. I brought them home a few weeks ago and my son noticed them in the fridge. He asked me if he could try one!! Ortega came out with a whole wheat soft taco kit that comes with 8 whole wheat tacos, taco seasoning that has 40% less sodium and the taco sauce. You can offer shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, low fat shredded cheese, salsa, sour cream (I use lite), and/or guacamole and anything else you like.

It was funny that my kids noticed that they were different and they liked them better. That was a first! They always have fun making their own tacos!

Gluten Free Dairy Free Chocolate Chunk Cookies

I have tried other variations of break and bake cookies from this company- Immaculate Baking Co. Which are made all natural ingredients. I found the gluten free cookie today at Fresh Market. It looks like Whole Foods and a variety of specialty markets carry this brand as well.

My kids tried them when they got home from school and gave them a thumbs up! They are pretty big- so one cookie is enough for a snack. It used to be very difficult to find a selection of gluten free products. I’m so glad that more and more products are coming out that are gluten free and they taste good too!!

Pepperidge Farm 100% Whole Wheat Sandwich Bread


This is a great product. I’ve seen this in the market as white bread, but just saw it for the first time in my market as whole wheat. It’s available in honey whole wheat also.

It’s low in fat, a good source of fiber and contains no high fructose corn syrup. A fun way to introduce whole wheat bread to your kids.

Soy Vay Veri Veri Teriyaki Sauce

This is a great marinade to keep as a staple in your kitchen pantry. You can use it on meats, poultry, fish, and vegetables. It’s an all natural teriyaki sauce that contains no preservatives and while we were in the market we noticed that is lower in sodium than low sodium soy sauce.
